:: Abstract – Patterns: Collection III

Typically, our lives are so busy, that we miss out on the beauty around us. And, you’ll be surprised, that’s it all around – and it only requires taking a pause to notice it. While it’s true that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, it should be easier to spot patterns in things around us – whether natural, man-made or even accidental!

Being a stickler for abstracts, here’s a collection (out of more) about patterns I “caught” in many routine places and locales. I enjoy searching for these, as much as clicking them.

Many worlds: water-sensitive globules frame a world within themselves. Lines, streaks, circles, spheres, reflections... It's a complex world in there! A world within a world. A drop of sweat on my glasses reflected the window grill...! Sweet peppermint candy!

Colorful fruit loops A perfect heart! Beating rush hour ...! Swept away - flash flood after a downpour.

In the grip of supernatural forces? Ready for launch! Water drops from sprinklers in the early morning sun... Go with the flow: Waters released from a dam rush out in a gush No, that's not the Leaning Tower! It's Sri Mangeshi Temple in Goa.

In this album:
Black and White: A full moon seems to reflect the pattern of dark clouds like a mirror. Fireworks leave an eye-catching streak of streak of lines and patterns. A pair of brightly lit lanterns on a festive occassion. How many patterns do you spot? Or, just go 'mad over [the] donuts]'

Lines and lights leading up a path at a city mall. Consumed by (an) amoeba ? Candy stripes - any which way you look! A capture of the screensaver on my laptop. Simply enticing?!

Heart made of a rainbow of colorful beads. A ferris wheel appears to spin at warp speed (hopefully the ride was enjoyable!) Digital Nostalgia (some day!). Multiple patterns - do you see them? Today's offices appear as nothing more than boxes of workspaces from afar.

Drops of Gold: Rain drops glisten in the sheen of street lights Window shop-ping: Branded stores laid out symmetrically at a high-street store After a hard day's work - Cement Mixer Trucks line up neatly in a parking lot (Tiles) All stacked up [sorry for the inconvenience :]

Pavement blocks in a variety of colours interlinked in an interesting pattern Sqiggly Lines :)) The monotony of the squiggly lines of paved blocks is contrasted by the sharp lines. A warm glow of the early morning sun on a wintery morning highlights the symmetry of a lovely plant in the frontyard.
