Trips: Goa – Of Beaches, Wonderful Beaches

:: Destinations – India – Goa (3/3)

From old churches and temples, from lush countryside to fiery sunsets, we’d already seen some of the best that Goa could offer (of course, in such a short span of time). But, there was one more thing we still had to see. Yes, the many famed beaches of Goa.

Whilst it wasn’t planned that way, nor could it have been practically feasible, we definitely didn’t cover the vast number of beaches that Goa’s coastline has to offer the tourist. But, that’s something we can plan for the future…meanwhile, enjoy some more spectacular pics from our album.

Trips: Goa – Of Sunsets and Cruises

:: Destinations – India – Goa

Our first day in popular Goa was already off to a great start, with experiences of the old churches that Goa is famed for, the beautiful Mangueshi temple (see the album here). By late afternoon and after grabbing some quick bites and refreshing cool drinks (always needed in humid conditions), we headed to North Goa, across from Panjim to witness more spectacular sights of Goa. See the album below to find out!

Trips: Goa – A Pristine Destination

:: Destinations – India – Goa

Goa is amongst the most popular tourist destination in India – and has plenty to offer the single traveller, a group of friends, and families. It’s a year round destination, but is usually ultra busy during special months such as Christmas/New Year.

Goa is also known for it’s heavy rains (the monsoon season of India), and we decided to take a trip just before the onset of the monsoons. Temples, churches, lush greenery, and of course miles of sandy beaches, spectacular photo-op sunsets, fun and frolic – is what Goa offers the traveller. Here, are pictures from our first (of hopefully more-to-come) trips:
