Amazing Sunsets: Pune, November 2020

:: Galleries – Nature: Sunsets – Nov 2020:

One of my favorite quotes goes: “Watch more sunsets than Netflix “and it’s something I cannot resist! At every opportunity that I can get, I will not miss a sunset.

One cannot be sure of what it might turn out like, but, even if it doesn’t, it’s usually lovely, to see the journey of the sun (or, actually, the Earth we stand on), as it completes a day. Every season (hmm, well, maybe not the piercing summer here) usually offers some great sunsets, especially, as many photographer’s would agree, when the sky is also a tad cloudy.

It was on once such evening, and though, not very cloudy, as usual, with camera in tow, made my way to one of the best spots in Pune, to watch the sunset, little knowing, that what would unfold would be like none other.

Here, are the pictures of this outing – and surely, wouldn’t be the last for me. So, keep watching this space!

Cloudy skies promise a sunset to wait for... Find your inner glow... The sun eventually makes its appearance. How will it be? Is it a bird? Is it a flame? It's an amazing Sun!

The Sun's flame is a powerhouse for our Universe Birds swoop by in the spectacular glow Evening spotlight?! Picturesque reflections...

Picturesque reflections... Myriad hues of a sun... It's almost like someone turned on the light! Someone took a delicious bite, huh?

It's like an eclipse, ain't it? Very few take a moment to stop by and witness beautiful sunsets... Well, it's almost like capturing the big red planet in our solar system! Shifting hues (do you see?)

Seems like it's rolling downhill! Balancing act, shall we say? Sinking into the arms of the Earth A primary source of all energy in our solar system, the Sun is about 109x the Earth's diameter...

Picture perfect landscape! Sinking in, for a night of rest... There's so much to be grateful for in this world... Shifting focus to the sky, but the Sun yet draws attention.

Typically, our lives are so busy, that we miss out on the beauty around us. And, you’ll be surprised, that’s it all around – and it only requires taking a pause to notice it. While it’s true that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, it should be easier to spot patterns in things around us – whether natural, man-made or even accidental!

Being a stickler for abstracts, here’s a collection (out of more) about patterns I “caught” in many routine places and locales. I enjoy searching for these, as much as clicking them.

In this album:
Black and White: A full moon seems to reflect the pattern of dark clouds like a mirror. Fireworks leave an eye-catching streak of streak of lines and patterns. A pair of brightly lit lanterns on a festive occassion. How many patterns do you spot? Or, just go 'mad over [the] donuts]'

Lines and lights leading up a path at a city mall. Consumed by (an) amoeba ? Candy stripes - any which way you look! A capture of the screensaver on my laptop. Simply enticing?!

Heart made of a rainbow of colorful beads. A ferris wheel appears to spin at warp speed (hopefully the ride was enjoyable!) Digital Nostalgia (some day!). Multiple patterns - do you see them? Today's offices appear as nothing more than boxes of workspaces from afar.
