Rajgad Fort Trek, Pune (cont’d)

:: Rajgad Fort Trek, Pune (cont’d)

The trek to the Rajgad Fort, started off with inspiring notes, and as we embarked on the trek, we continued to enjoy (and capture) amazing scenery.

I’ll be adding more of them here, as and when I get the chance, but, do have a look.

Rajgad Fort Trek, Pune

:: Rajgad Fort Trek, Pune

Inspired by some awesome photographs of Rajgad Fort, the initial capital of the Maratha Empire, on the outskirts of Pune, we were able to plan a day trip to this historic place recently. With the weather having turned cooler, it was time to embark on an adventurous trek to this place, about 60km south of Pune, off Nasrapur.

The trek was organized by Nelda Foundation, and so it was easy for us to tag along.
As always, I was armed with my camera, and didn’t loose an opportunity to click a lot of pictures.

I’ll be adding them here, as and when I get the chance, but, do have a look.

Seven Wonders Park, Pune

:: Destinations – India: Pune – Seven Wonders Park

A fairly recent addition to Pune’s list of historical monuments and places of interest is the ‘Seven Wonders Park’ (officially known as the Yashwantrao Chavan Park). Located in the eastern suburb of Sahakar Nagar, near Parvati, it is a park that has scaled down replicas of some of the famed seven wonders of the (ancient) world.

The place is well maintained, and surely is worth a visit to catch a glimpse of these wonders of the world, created centuries ago. This album provides a glimpse of these scaled monuments.
